You shall make payment by cash or cheque. Cheques are made payable to Brenda Woodward.

A minimum order charge of £5 apples to all orders.

For advance orders, cheques need to be sent at least 7 working days before hire. Any returned cheques will incur a £10 charge.

Next or same day orders will be cash only.

Deposit and pricing
A deposit will be required for all orders before the equipment is delivered. The deposit can be either cash or cheque, any cheques will be kept by us and not banked. These cheques will be shredded 5 working days after the equipment has been returned, and at the choice of the customer, the cheque may be returned by post. We will bank the deposit if the goods are not returned or meet the criteria set out below.

Deposits are as follows:

If value of goods hired is up to £100, then a £35 deposit will be charged.

Goods valued over £100 will have a £50 deposit.

Prices are stated on the website and will be confirmed once you have placed your order.

Cancelling or amending your order
Cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of the equipment hire is free of charge. If you cancel after that time then a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price payable will be levied.

Once the equipment hire period has started you are not entitled to cancel your order.

Any changes to your order up to 24 hours before the start of the equipment hire will be free of charge. We may have to charge an amendment fee of 25% of the total price payable if changes are made within that 24 hour period.

If you wish to cancel your order with us you must notify us in by letter or email (contact us). Once this has been received we will cancel your order.

Amendments to your order can be by letter, email or telephone. We will confirm any changes in writing.

Delivery and collection of equipment
The address you have specified on your order will be the delivery address.

Delivery will be at a prearranged mutually agreed time. The order must be signed for on delivery, if no-one is at the address we will try to contact you by telephone. If we still cannot contact you at that time the goods will be returned and a fee of £3 will be charged for the return trip.

Collection of the equipment will be at a prearranged mutually agreed time.

Return of deposit
Your deposit will not be banked if the equipment is returned on the last day if hire and it is in the same condition as received. We will allow for any fair wear and tear. Any late returns by you will be charged on a daily basis until it is returned and the deposit will be banked. Any damage to the equipment done by you for whatever reason will result in the deposit being banked.

Your responsibilities
You shall have the following responsibilities:
to check the equipment upon delivery to ensure that it is not damaged, it is in good working order and it is fit for the purpose for which you intend to use it. If this is not the case you must notify us immediately and we shall endeavour to replace the equipment within 24 hours;

to carefully read the instructions that we shall supply with the equipment prior to its use and to follow the instructions at all times whilst using the equipment;

to take care of and ensure the safekeeping of the equipment;

to use the equipment in a safe and sensible manner and in accordance with both the purpose for which it was supplied and the manufacturers instructions.
